Introduction

Well today I decided to unbury my desire to create a Book Club. Now hopefully the seeds will sprout fruit.

My roommate is part of a Book Club, and I have wanted to read more often recently. The only problem is that I don't know what to read. These three thoughts among others boiled around in my brain until I realized that a Book Club could solve my problems. Thus the Club was created, a blog was built, and now I await anxiously to see if anyone that I know wants to join in on the fun.

The Club would consist of a Monthly Get Together where we'd meet up and excitedly discuss the book together - not in a scholarly-OMG-I-have-a-test-sort-of- way but an enjoyable way.

Great literature, great food, and great friends: what else could you ask for?

We would create a running list of great books that we think we should all read that we have read, or completely new books to us all. We'd choose a new one every month! Fiction, Non-fiction: whatever the moment calls for!

Anyways, hopefully this here blog becomes more than a Good Intention. If nothing else, I will have my own little Book Club. I'm already preparing to read Night by Elie Wiesel.

I guess, we shall see What Happens.
